Solution Details

For demonstrating the BI Explorer functionality, we have need to perform the following activities:
1. Need to design the Information design tool(Universe) based on Sales analysis infocube.
2. Based on the IDT, we need to create Information space that acts as connection between Explorer and IDT.
3. Using the Information space, we need to create Exploration viewset that is displayed to the user.
4. Finally explain the features, functions, advantages and disadvantages, dataflow and design methodology.
5. Discuss about the known issues and respond to the queries.

Issues

1. It is not possible to develop the BI Explorer based on BEx queries from BW source, so infocubes or DSO Objects should be used directly.
2. BI Explorer is not able to display the Japanese Currency 'JPY' correctly(multiplies resultant values with 100). For Eg. if the actual value is 200 JPY, it is being displayed as 20000 JPY in Exploration viewset.
